Where dancers develop strong technique, confidence, and consistency as they grow

Placement is based on age, experience, and readiness

Beginner Entry

7 - 10 years

Dancers begin to build a strong foundation in technique while growing in confidence and strength.

What to Expect:

  • Core technique and alignment

  • Strength, flexibility, and coordination

  • Introduction to choreography and combinations

  • Growing confidence as a dancer

Advanced Beginner

Ages 9 - 12

Dancers begin to bridge into more focused training with increased attention to detail and consistency.

What to Expect:

  • Stronger alignment and body awareness

  • More detailed choreography and combinations

  • Increased strength and flexibility

  • Growth in musicality and movement quality

Opportunities at This Stage

For dancers who are interested in additional performance or training opportunities:

  • Core Cuties Ages 4–7 (invitation only) — a gentle introduction to competitive performance

  • Core Cadets Ages 7–10 (invitation only) — for dancers ready for increased training and performance

  • CDA Company Ages 8 and up (audition-based) — a competitive training program with increased commitment, multiple routines, and expanded performance opportunities

  • Core Spotlight Ages 6 and up — performance opportunities with a flexible commitment

  • Core Crew Ages 6 and up (audition-based) — a hip hop-focused performance and competitive track
