CDA Company

As a member of our competitive dance team, you'll have access to top-notch training from experienced coaches and choreographers. You'll work on perfecting your technique, building your stamina and endurance, and mastering complex dance routines that will take your skills to new heights. Our team is made up of dedicated dancers who share your love of dance and are committed to achieving excellence together.
But being a part of a competitive dance team isn't just about the training and the competitions. It's also about the camaraderie and support that comes from being a part of a close-knit community of dancers. You'll make lifelong friends and create unforgettable memories as you work towards your shared goals and overcome challenges together.

The benefits of being a competitive dancer don't end there; you'll develop important life skills such as discipline, teamwork, and perseverance that will serve you well both on and off the dance floor. You'll also gain confidence in yourself and your abilities as you push yourself to new heights and achieve things you never thought possible.

CDA Company members are required to participate from August through Nationals, which is typically beginning of July. This is both a serious and rewarding commitment as the Company attends up to 3 conventions, 3-6 regional competitions, and potentially 1 national competition in the summer.

Weekly Company commitment varies by dancer age and number of dances.   Following are the minimum required classes for each age/level (increases with number of dances) and ages are approximate as dancers are placed based on ability and not strictly by age: 

Mini (5-6 years)

2 - 30 min rehearsals minimum (can add more), 1 Ballet/Tap, 1 Ballet/Jazz, 1 Hip Hop.  Base tuition: $200.

Level I (7-9 years)

2 rehearsals minimum (can add more), 1 Ballet I, 1 Technique/Leaps/Turns I, 1 Modern I, 1 Tap I.  Base tuition: $225.

3+ dances requires 1 additional Ballet/Tap or Ballet I.

Level II (10-12 years)

2 - 30 min rehearsals minimum (can add more)), 1 Ballet II, 1 Technique/Leaps/Turns II, 1 Modern II, 1 Tap II.  Base tuition: $260.

3+ dances requires additional Ballet II and Stretch and Flex II, 4+ dances requires all previous classes and additional Contemporary II, 5+ dances requires all previous classes plus Jazz II and Hip Hop II.

Level III (13-15 years)

2 - 30 min rehearsals minimum (can add more), 1 Ballet III, 1 Technique/Leaps/Turns III, 1 Modern III, 1 Tap III.  Base tuition: $285.

3+ dances requires additional Ballet III and Stretch and Flex III, 4+ dances requires all previous classes and additional Contemporary III, 5+ dances requires all previous classes plus Jazz III and Hip Hop III.

Level IV (15-18 years) 

2 - 30 min rehearsals minimum (can add more)), 1 Ballet IV, 1 Technique/Leaps/Turns IV, 1 Lyrical/Jazz IV, 1 Tap IV.  Base tuition: $285.

3+ dances requires additional Ballet IV and Stretch and Flex IV, 4+ dances requires all previous classes and additional Contemporary IV, 5+ dances requires all previous classes plus Jazz IV and Hip Hop IV.

Teen/Senior Drill Team (14-18 years) -  Available to dancers actively dancing on a local High School Drill Team (must be a member of the Varsity team)

2 - 30 min rehearsals minimum (can add more), 1 Ballet III or IV, 1 Modern III or IV.  Base tuition: $200.

3+ dances requires additional Stretch and Flex III or IV.
