Where is Core Dance Alliance located?

We are located conveniently off of Hwy 59 and Sugar Creek Blvd in Sugar Land, Texas. Our address is 14031 Southwest Fwy, Suite #600 Sugar Land, TX 77478.

How early can my child begin dancing?

Children can begin dancing as early as 18 months with our Mommy & Me classes! We highly recommend trying multiple genres of styles of dance rather than just one; this way your child is exposed to different movements and also different kinds of music.

Do I need previous experience?

No! We offer a variety of classes ranging from beginner to advanced with high level instructors who are qualified to give each dancer their best learning experience.

When can I register my dancer for classes?

Today is the Day! We accept registrations for new dancers at anytime throughout the year.

Does my child need to wear specific dance attire to class?

Yes, please see our dress code for more information.

What do I need to bring?

Please send your dancer in the appropriate dance attire along with plenty of water. Dancers should wear outwear appropriate to the season.

Can I watch my dancer during their class?

Yes! We have video monitors in each room with viewing available in the Lobby. In addition, we welcome parents and guardians into the classroom one week out of each month to observe their child's progress.

Does my dancer have to be a part of recital?

It is strongly encouraged that all dancers participate in the year end recital. This allows family and friends the opportunity to see what your dancer has been working on all year. All classes will perform in the recital excluding Leaps/Turns/Progressions and Tech/Stretch/Strength.

What performances will my dancer be in?

Core Dance Alliance is always looking for opportunities for your dancer with recital being our end of the year performance. For dancers looking for more performance opportunities, we recommend our competitive Company.

Does Core Dance Alliance have a performance or competitive team?

Yes! Core Dance Alliance Company competes locally and regionally throughout the year, and attends local dance conventions to enhance their dance training. Ages 4 and up are welcome to join. Auditions are held in the summer and by appointment.
